4. Carry it past the guardian
Carry the animal back toward the Safe Zone. Each zone guardian will smack you and make you drop whatever you are carrying, so plan the escape route before you steal rather than after.
5. Deliver it to your pen
Drop the animal into your pen in the Safe Zone. It starts earning Cash immediately and keeps earning while you are logged out, with the pending income paid out on your next login.
Rerolling a bad hatch
Because every egg hatches one animal on RNG luck, you never have to accept a bad result. Leave the animal unclaimed, walk to the next egg, and break that instead. The only cost is time and the risk of being caught by the guardian, so on longer runs it usually pays to check two or three eggs before committing to the escape.
