Break and Steal an Egg Pets & Animals
Animals are the income engine of the game: break an egg, steal the animal, park it in your pen and it pays Cash, even offline. This page documents the systems, and it says so plainly where a per-animal database cannot yet be verified.

Quick answer
Every animal comes from an egg broken in one of the nine zones. Weight is the stat that matters: heavier animals earn more, they hatch from bigger eggs, and three duplicates of a species merge into a heavier variant. Your pen starts at eight animals and keeps earning while you are logged out.
How the systems work
How animals are obtained
- Train Speed on your treadmill until you clear the gate of a zone.
- Break an egg in that zone with your pickaxe; one animal appears based on RNG luck.
- Steal it with the interact key and carry it back toward the Safe Zone.
- Deliver it to your pen; from then on it generates Cash, including while you are logged out.
Weight and size decide earnings
The value of an animal and the income it produces are mainly determined by its weight, and heavier animals come from bigger eggs. The reported strategy is to break every egg in a zone and steal only the highest-earning animal you can escape with. Egg colors are cosmetic; size and rarity are what matter.
Pen capacity and offline income
The pen starts at eight animals, with more slots unlocked through pen upgrades. Animals keep generating Cash while you are offline and pay out the pending income on your next login, which is why pen upgrades are worth buying even when you are not actively playing.
Defending your animals
Other players can steal animals from your base, and each zone guardian will smack you and make you drop whatever you are carrying. The Bat is the reported defensive tool: swing it at players trying to take your valuable animals, and expect the same from them.
Merging duplicates
The Animal Merging machine in the Safe Zone takes three animals of the same species, of any weight, and returns an egg that hatches a heavier variant of that species. Submitting heavier animals raises the weight of the resulting egg. There is no reported daily limit.
The index and collection rewards
The game asks you to complete your index by collecting animals of different sizes and rarities, and index rewards are reported as one of the two Speed sources alongside the treadmill. Discovering animals fills the index; the exact reward schedule is not published by any source we trust.
Animal guides
Each system on this page has its own guide with the full workflow and the unverified gaps called out.
Animal Weight and Income
The value of an animal and the Cash it produces are mainly determined by its weight. Heavier animals hatch from bigger eggs, and egg size — not color — is what you should shop for.
How to Defend Your Animals
Other players can steal animals from your base, and zone guardians will make you drop whatever you carry. The Bat is the reported defensive tool for both problems.
How to Get Animals
Every animal comes from an egg: clear a zone's Speed gate, break an egg with your pickaxe, steal the animal that hatches out, and deliver it to your pen in the Safe Zone.
How to Merge Duplicate Animals
The Animal Merging machine in the Safe Zone takes three animals of the same species, of any weight, and returns an egg that hatches a heavier variant of that species. Heavier inputs raise the weight of the egg you get back.
Pen Capacity and Offline Income
Your pen starts at eight animals with more slots unlocked through pen upgrades. Animals keep generating Cash while you are offline and pay the pending income on your next login.
Why there is no per-animal table here
Pet pages for similar Roblox games usually publish a full roster with income per second and hatch odds. For this game, none of the sources this site trusts publishes verified per-animal names, income values or drop rates, and the official listing does not either. Inventing a table would break the standard every other page here follows, so this page sticks to the systems that can be checked.
- Individual animal names and their per-second income; other Roblox pet pages publish such tables, but no source we trust publishes one for this game, so none is listed here.
- A best-animal ranking; without verified income values any tier ranking would be invented.
- Exact index reward amounts per discovery.
- Whether animals can be traded between players; no source confirms a trading system.
Animal questions
How do I get animals in Break and Steal an Egg?
Break an egg in any zone your Speed has unlocked, steal the animal that hatches out, and deliver it to your pen in the Safe Zone. Each egg produces one animal based on RNG luck, so you can ignore a bad roll and break another egg instead.
Why are heavier animals better?
Weight drives both the value of an animal and the Cash it generates, and heavier animals hatch from bigger eggs. Duplicates are not dead weight either: merge three of the same species and the machine returns an egg with a heavier variant of that species.
How many animals can I keep?
Eight at the start, according to the reported pen rules, with more slots unlocked through pen upgrades. Animals in your base keep earning Cash while you are offline, so extra slots convert idle time into income.
What is the best animal in the game?
There is no verified answer yet. Guides agree that you should steal the highest-earning animal you can escape with from each zone, but no source we trust publishes per-animal income values for this game, and this site does not rank animals it cannot check. Secret-rarity eggs in the Galaxy Zone are reported to hold the rarest animals.
Can other players take my animals?
Yes. Players can steal animals from bases, and the reported counter is the Bat: swing it at anyone trying to take your valuable critters. Small seven-player servers keep the number of rivals down, but they do not remove the risk.
Do animals earn money while I am offline?
Yes. Animals in your base generate Cash while you are logged out and pay out the pending income the next time you log in. That is the main reason pen upgrades are recommended early.
